Children prepare Mishloach Manos for needy families
Young school children packaged and decorated mishloach manos as part of an activity at the Gilo Community Center.
The packages will be attached to the food boxes we regularly deliver to needy families bringing with it special joy in honor of Purim.
This project is the product of a long-standing collaboration with the community of Gilo neighborhood, where food products are collected regularly for the needy of Yad Eliezer. The children were excited to take part in the project and collected over 400 items for the mishloach manot.
We are happy to be a part in such activities where young children have the opportunity to think about those less fortunate and are able to do something to bring joy to those in need.
